Day 1:
Arrival
Arrive in Paris. Meet & greet at the airport and transfer to accommodation for the evening. Enjoy an evening meal together and discuss your program.
Day 2:
Versailles to Caen
Wander the luxurious grounds of Versaille Palace. Visit the famous Hall of Mirrors where the League of Nations was first formed after WWI. Travel onward towards Caen.
Enjoy an afternoon in Bayeux and learn about Medieval Norman France through the famous Bayeux Tapestry Museum.

Overnight in Bayeux or Caen.
Day 3:
D-Day and the Channel Islands
Spend a morning exploring the historic Omaha Beach of D-Day fame, and pay your respects at the American Cemetery in Normandy.

Travel onward and board the ferry to travel back to Norman French on the Channel Island of Jersey.
​
Enjoy the Fisherman's Chapel at St Brelade's on Jersey.
Overnight on Jersey.
Day 4:
Medieval France
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the picturesque port town of St Helier before boarding the ferry back to France.

Check in to accommodations in St Malo and wander the old city walls.

Overnight in St Malo or Dinan.
Day 5:
Mont St-Michel
Enjoy a day wandering the beautiful mountain tidal island of Mont Saint-Michel.

Return to Dinan to explore the quaint market town alleyways that will have enjoying traditional Breton architecture.
Day 6:
Finisterre & Deep Brittany
Hike the wild coastlines of Finisterre -- mainland France's westernmost point.

Head to the unofficial heart of Brittany at Quimper and understand the unique history of Brittany at the Museum of Breton History with traditional costumes and artwork on display.
​
Enjoy the traditional flavors of Breton galettes while overlooking the main square of Quimper, deep in the heart of traditional Celtic Bretagne.
Day 7:
Quimperware & Postcard Towns
Beautiful traditional wares are on display at the Museum of Quimper Pottery. Why not search for some Quimperware of your own at local antique shops en route?

Spend an afternoon in Concarneau, a walled town on a harbor island whose picture-perfect preservation has seen its use on many a period-drama French film and TV series. Don't forget to try the local coing-amann pastries!
Day 8:
Neolithic France
Be intrigued by prehistory with the standing stones of Carnac.

Explore the regional capital city of Rennes for the afternoon before heading back towards Paris for a departure the following day.
Day 9:
Departure
Return to Paris and continue your time in France on your own, extend your tour, or catch a return flight home from any Paris airport.
